Pros: We keep our unit in the vicinity of the cat box and it works far better than we ever expected. It eliminates virtually all odors that come from the cat box, as well as collecting dust and loose hair from our two long-haired cats (which we simply vacuum up from the outside of the unit weekly without taking it apart for normal cleaning). When we enter our apartment, there is no evidence that we have two cats--for the first time in many years of searching for a unit that actually works! It also absorbs cooking odors from the adjoining kitchen. The regular maintenance is a "breeze."
Cons: A bit large but worth the space due to its effectiveness; just a bit noisy if you have it close to you while you're watching TV (but it's not awful loud).
Shopping Experience: We have received excellent customer service from Honeywell Central, which is not always the case in this day and age. We will return to this website for future purchases.

Shopping Experience: I've been so happy with the 50250 that I've told several of my friends about it. It has really helped with both pollen and cat allergies. An added benefit is the white noise it makes which helps my sleeping! Definitely one of the more contemporary looking air purifiers on the market as well.

Shopping Experience: Great air purifier....lots of filter area, lots of power, and lots of air movement. Blue light on switch a little bright at night, but easy to rectify. Just bought another one.
